Yoga 101: Where Can I Do Yoga On The Las Vegas Strip?

Choosing a hotel with a pool is always a wise choice especially if you have children. Casino hotels offer so many specials on rooms your best bet is to research them on the internet prior to your trip and book in advance (although I have never failed to find a room last minute, it stinks to be looking when tired from travel). If you are traveling with your family, you may have to whisk the children through a casino to get to your rooms. The Excalibur is one of my children’s favorite hotels even though I find the rooms a bit unimaginative myself (it could be the arcade in the Excalibur they find so appealing!), and their prices are always within my non-budget.

As a tourist city, Las Vegas offers plenty of transportation options to help you navigate the city. The Monorail runs from the MGM Grand Casino on the south end of the Strip, to the Sahara Casino on the north end, with frequent stops made along the way. You can also travel the Strip on foot, by bus, or by taxi.

The events come to a cresendo with 2011 Miss America Pageant on Saturday, January 15th. Tickets for the show are 0, but you can get a front row seat at home at 9:00 p.m. on ABC. Turn a friend or family member on to yoga by taking them to the movies. That’s what a friend of mine did. Okay, he didn’t literally take them to the movies; he loaned them his copy of Y Yoga Movie (Event Horizon Labs; 2008), a documentary that explores why people do yoga.

It still has the best restaurant deal list we’ve found for Las Vegas: There’s everything from high-end restaurants at Strip resorts to neighborhood pubs, and everything in between.

Las Vegas art fans have a new spot to check out local art. Right now, Saks Fifth Avenue, inside the fashion show mall, is showcasing the works of Tony Romeo.

There are several casinos still offering the 99 cent margarita on Fremont Street. They’re all about the same, and they’re all pre-mixed and frozen. At the tiny Mermaids casino, you can sample from about 15 different tropical style frozen drinks.
