What Else is There To Do – for thrills and chills try the Adventuredome Theme Park at 2880 Las Vegas Blvd. Over 25 rides and games will keep the kids busy for hours. There are several museums in Las Vegas. I loved the Auto Collection at the Imperial Palace. It’s the largest classic car collection and changes frequently as the cars are for sale. I’ve never seen so many beautiful Rolls Royces.
Saturday May 28 is National Hamburger Day and Vegas has plenty of options. Check out a .95 special bacon and cheddar burger with fries and a soft drink at Strip Burger at the fashion show mall. Also, there’s 11 In N Out Burger locations in Vegas, with one at 4888 Dean Martin Boulevard just west of the Strip off Tropicana. Just pop in and think “get in my belly”.
We also tried some very nice restaurants. Vegas has really become quite the foodie destination. Many celebrity chefs have opened up some really nice places. Too bad we can’t afford to visit those, but if you’ve ever watched the food Network, you can taste the foods of Bobby Flay, Emeril, the Too Hot Tamales and many more.
For this reason, casinos always feature a variety of shopping options, like boutiques, in their retail arcades. When you need a break from walking the floor, or perhaps need to take a walk after sitting a few hours at a table, check out the shops.
Monte Carlo Resort and Casino – The Mediterranean-themed Monte Carlo Resort and Casino is situated on the Las Vegas Strip, just across from the MGM Grand and next to the New york New York Hotel and Casino. For junkfood lovers, you’ll be glad to know that there is a McDonald’s at the hotel.
2) The Desert Inn Arterial. You can get from Valley View Blvd west of Las Vegas Blvd go under Las Vegas Blvd and end up at Paradise Blvd in less than 3 minutes. From there you can reach the Las Vegas Hilton, The Riviera Hotel, the Sahara Hotel or the Hard Rock Hotel to the south in 5 minutes. You are also right in front of the Las Vegas Convention Center if you are in town for a convention. This route is also a quick route to or from the Rio.

Living Statues perform all day in St. Mark’s Square and in front of Ann Taylor. These performers are good enough to be mistaken for real statues, and can be a shocker when one moves a little to adjust their pose near you. They are quite amazing to behold.
